The Animals & Friends feat: John Steel, Danny Handley, Barney Williams & Norm Helm
In 1964 spoelde er in de gehele wereld een golf van Rock & Roll. Boven op deze golf zaten de Beatles, The Rolling Stones en natuurlijk The Animals. Aan de oevers van de rivier The Tyne ontstond een nieuw aanbod: een gloednieuw stroming Rhythm & Blues dat de hele wereld in zijn greep nam. 

De Animals waren de tweede Britse band die aan de top kwamen van de Amerikaanse hitlijsten, met een miljoenen verkoop van de legendarische single House Of The Rising Sun. Hierna had de band meer dan twintig top tien hits over de hele wereld. Een aantal nummers bereikten in veel landen de nummer 1 positie. In Groot Brittannië alleen al waren dat er 12! De Animals waren bovendien de eerste Britse band die op tour gingen in Japan en Polen. 

Animals & Friends is nog steeds een ruwe Rhythm & Blues band welk internationaal door fans van alle leeftijden nog steeds met veel respect wordt ontvangen en instinctief enthousiast reageren op de beste nummers uit de rijke Animals historie als We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Boom Boom, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, Baby, Let Me Take You Home, I Put A Spell On You en natuurlijk House Of The Rising Sun.


Bintangs
Bintangs is de oudste nog bestaande rockband van Nederland, en is onder leiding van mede oprichter Frank Kraaijeveld nog steeds springlevend. In 2019 is de band opgenomen in de Dutch Blues Hall of Fame. De band staat bekend om hun energieke, eerlijke, authentieke optredens. Een mix van blues, rock, ballads en rhythm and blues.

In de sixties openden ze voor The Rolling Stones. Deelden het podium met The Kinks, Rory Gallagher, Dire Straits, Talking Heads, e.v.a. In 1969 scoort de band hun eerste hitsingle met “Ridin’ on the L&N”, gevolgd door “Travellin’ in the USA. Bintangs hebben zo’n 22 albums uitgebracht.
